- The hotel was nearly empty the day we were in. We booked the best room rather central room at the first floor (upstairs) with a balcony facing the view. It was really superb. It is to note that not all the rooms are alike and a proportion are on the road. - For the dinner we had a buffet. Exceptional. Sea and meat. Wide selection. Very good. - The breakfeast buffet was also very good. - The surrounding village and countryside.

Beautiful place and garden to stay with kids. They could play in the garden and forest around. From the house you walk easy to the most beautiful trails with impressive waterfall to the lake ( also accessible on the boat we could use, which is lovely) House was very clean and cosy. Also bbq facilities and terrace outside really nice. Very kind host. Super stay.

The cottage is in a unique location that allows for a complete disconnection from the rest of the world. It is furnished with exquisite taste, offering a sea view from every room. While sleeping, you can hear the sea. When it rained, we could watch the nature and wild animals through big windows in the cosy living room. The room was clean and the main bedroom area of the room modern and good. Breakfast buffet was nice and the breakfast area also bright and nicely furnished. Free wifi and parking outside. And late (13:00) checkout on weekends is a nice bonus :)

We were looking for a stopover between Stavanger and Bergen. Nice location along the fjord, we rented a fully equipped cabin, very clean and comfortable for 3 people. We rented a fishing rod and even managed to catch 3 macquerels for our dinner. Nice experience. To go back to Bergen we deviated from E39 and drove to Vage as an alternative, nice ride in the countryside.
