Jane and Michael are amazing hosts and I'm so glad we stayed at their hotel. The room itself was very comfortable, clean, and modern. Really tasty breakfast as well. However, what really made this stay special is their hospitality and their extensive knowledge of the area.
My partner and I were bikepacking across Norway. Michael gave excellent route recommendations which allowed us to stay away from busy traffic and enjoy stunning views. The routes are so much better than the typical main road options and really made our trip special.
We also took a kayak trip with them (discount available for hotel guests!) and did a short hike based on their recommendations. Everything was really amazing and fun.
We would highly recommend travelers, espcially those that are nature and adventure focused, to stay at Jane and Michael's.
The property offers free private parking. With free Wifi, this guest house features a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a toaster and fridge.

Eidfjord is a very practical location since from there is access to many activities and visits that I would recommend such as Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen, Norsk Natursenter - Hardanger and a lot of sensational excursions. Apart from that you have Hardangerfjord, the Ulvik/Voss area, Hardangervidda just a few kilometers away by car.
And the town is small, quiet and charming.

Eidfjors is an idyllic place with many things to do or enjoy. As main attractions you have the waterfall of Vøringsfossen, the norwegian nature center museum and the farms and views of Kjeåsen. Apart from that, other spectacular waterfalls and fantastic hikes. It is also a good place to relax and do nothing.

We loved the common area of the hotel, it has amazing views of the fiord.
Our room didn´t have a fjord view but it was a nice one as well. The room was an OK size, not super small but not super big. There was free parking. But, it was also within walking distance to many places in the city.
We loved the breakfast, it was great, with many options.
Had dinner at the hotels restaurant, got a free dessert. Good looks but taste was nothing out of the ordinary.
Stay at the Fossli felt like being "inside a novel". Needless to say, the view is fantastic (and you get the Voringsfossen waterfalls all for yourself in the evening, after the tourist buses stop flowing by), the staff is super kind, and the dinner was a very good surprise too! Maybe we were lucky but our room was also pretty large and very comfy.
