The property is in a forest and there is a view of the fjords from the livingroom and the garden. You can also easily reach the shore by a short walk through the forest. The house itself it well equipped and comfortable, feels just like home. There is an air-fryer which made cooking much easier and plenty of supplies. Also, you can use the hot tub whenever you like. Our host was super friendly and accomodating, when we arrived the hot-tub was already heated for us and answered all our questions about life here and his experiences. We can only recommend the place and the host.

The cuteness and pleasantness of the house was surpassed only by the couple owning the house and their daughter. A quaint house with A LOT of history to back up its uniqness. It was a pleasure staying there. Did I mention we had a very good, varied breakfast!?

The hosts are definitely 5 stars!!! They went above and beyond to help us feel very welcomed and comfortable. We even received fresh home made bread. They spent time telling us all about the area hikes (the Hytte is a must see and a beautiful hike) The apartment is clean and perfect for a family stay. The island is quiet, so it's a great place to get away from the hassle and bustle of Alesund. The light house is a must at sunset.
