Though the rooms are very small they are super clean and comfortable. The hotel had lots of great amenities, over and above what I was expecting. Plenty of parking, and restaurant and gas station on the same site were really handy too.

House was comfortable and especially well equipped for preparing meals. We took a nice hike around a lake close to the house.

The location is amazing the house is surrounded by the mountains, the lake is in front of the house.If the sky is clear you can experience the northern lights for the entire night just though the windows.The room is clean and comfortable.Especially the kitchen that is very well equipped! views are incredible. the Fjords are unlike anything around. the private beach is awesome to go exploring on and sea seashells, etc. outside the city limits of anything near by.

Ballangen camping was easy to find and the service was very fine and quick. The camping area is also easy to navigate. Customer service was friendly and very informative. They can answer most of your questions about anything you need to know. The camping area is located next to the Atlantic ocean that gives you the opportunity to swim and enjoy the sauna that Ballangen camping offers.
With that we get to the one huge negative from a Finns perspective. The sauna needs more attention. It was not mentioned or advertised anywhere as an option and also was lacking a bucket and a laddle. One of the staff members also mentioned that he had not checked the sauna in two years, which i think would be required from the staff since they have that option available for the customers. Also when it was warm it smelled like burning dust. Otherwise the sauna was good and warm. The sauna needs more attention. I would recommend for the staff to start promoting the sauna more and add the missing requirements.
But overall the experience was really good. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a good affordable place to stay when visiting Narvik or other places near Ballangen.
