Sven the owner hosted us like personal friends, sharing his love for the area and knowledge of its treasures. The lodge is very comfortable and inviting, both in the communal areas and the rooms. Of course everything is top notch and spotless. The common dinner table is a great idea, Ethel friendly conversation and wonderful home cooking adding much to the experience.
Uloya is a lovely peaceful island surrounded by gorgeous scenery.

Used as a stop over en route and to that extent this does the job, it's a roadside motel with no frills. It's well used and is at the lower end of 3* I'd say.
Room was a decent size, furniture was well used. Had door to balcony from which we saw the Northern lights - so that was rather nice.
Breakfast was Norwegian style, did the trick...no particular stand put points good or bad.
