I booked late, after a long day with my husband at the hospital, post surgery. When I arrived, I went through the Pay link process, but something happened and it didn't go through after the banking process. I called the number listed for help and the person who answered was unhelpful and very rude. He told me the number was only to be used for emergencies, even though it says for paylink problems. He didn't care about the day I had had. Didn't care I couldn't get access to a room. He told me to find another hotel! Unbelievable!
I contacted Clarion Amanda, who were a God send! The man at Clarion said, Come to me! So I did and was offered a wonderful room and price reduction. This man was full of empathy, professional and cared about my day.
So, Banken rejected their own booking, at their own cost and Clarion Collection has gained a loyal customer .

Super friendly and helpful people, met with a warm welcome, very comfortable room and bed. Facilities and breakfast better than I expected. Location was ideal for me with a 15 min walk into town to stretch the legs altho I had the option of being dropped in if I needed. I had to manage my diet for a weightlifting competition so the self service kitchen was perfect with a supermarket just 5 minutes away too. Hope to get back for a holiday soon - lots to see and do here in the home of the Vikings

This apartment is under a fifteen minute walk to the main shopping street in Haugesund and there is a bus route at the end of the street if you want to go further afield. The street is residential and quiet. There is a well equipped kitchen although no microwave or freezer. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. There is plenty of ventilation and the living room is very comfortable. At the time of our stay the price compared favourably to other available options around town especially for self catering so close to the city centre and including parking.

The viking village was very beautiful nature that you normally only find on TV. I loved the smell of wood used for viking village. the walk was great and there were loads of perfect spots to enjoy. I find it a unique romantic place for couples who also love photography and also for people how love camping. it makes you feel how people used to leave several centuries ago.
