We didn't even meet the owners, they leave the keys in a certain place.
The accommodation is very close to the train station, 20 minutes on foot to the seashore, 7 minutes to a small supermarket, 20 minutes to a large one and perfectly suite our plans: to walk in nature with swimming in the sea and to walk around Oslo (30 minutes by train).
There is everything you need for living in any weather and self-cooking.
The shower room has everything you need (warm floor, towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and even body balm), and the kitchen has oil, tea, coffee, salt and enough dishes

We stayed in Asker because it is close to Oslo, not really for Asker itself. Asker for me was only a sentimental place, I used to live and work there in 1988-89, so we spent half a day walking around and visiting the places I used to know 33 years before (some of them changed much, so they wer unrecognizable to me). Apart from that we have treted Asker as a unexpensive pied-a-terre to tourism in Oslo.

The apartment is wonderful, very conveniently located at walking distance from Asker station. Not only did it offer everything we needed, but it is also very nice and decorated with taste. Tusen takk Ubbe for welcoming us so warmly !
Wonderful experience overall - friendly staff, spotless rooms as well as communal areas, quiet...great breakfast selection, too, and only a short walk from Asker station. Wholeheartedly recommended!
It is very nice hotel! We had a very tiny room, but super cosy! Stuff was great and helpful! Lovely breakfast and delicious dinner! Bus stop to Oslo just 10min walk away.
