The hotel is very well located to the city and the main train station. We arrived by ferry into Bergen and had to take a taxi from the harbour terminal to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were happy with our room. Breakfast was very good with a good variety. We also ate dinner at the hotel and it was also very good. Free tea, coffee and water were available in the hotel lobby - this was actually the case at most hotels we stayed at in Norway. It was easy to walk into Bergen city centre from the hotel and also see the main sights.

The hotel is a neat building from the 1920's with a lot of character. The breakfast buffet if very good, the staff friendly and helpful, everything is clean and the Wi-Fi is good.
