It was a cold but sunny day and inside it was bright during the day and warm and cosy at nighttime. The tower is full of character. Massive beams, cosy bedrooms and soulfully decorated. The ideal place to discuss an interesting book, reconnect and remember and celebrate the birthday of our mother who gave us so much during her life, including passion, curiosity, kindness and above all endless love.

Booked a superior room. It was very large with a super king size bed and beautifully finished fitments . Bathroom was one of the best we have had on our many trips. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and set in a very nice restaurant setting. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of stopping in this area.

The interior of the hotel (main entry and restaurant) is fantastic! The breakfast was perfect, I should say the best where I have ever seen in Europe. Personal are very kind and helpful. Big rooms with all what one need. Thank you
The large room, a balcony with a clever lock so door could be left part open, a terrific breakfast, and courteous staff- a kind fellow explained why Van der Valk hotels have a toucan as their logo!
The main bar and restaurant are good. The hotel looks new but isn't. It's well maintained and clearly has been updated well at some point. Bathroom was excellent. Bed slept well
