The restaurant and its staff are incredibly nice, open until 9pm (past that, they only serve main dishes) and the meals we had were top notch; we even got a comp'ed appetizer. The pool and spa are open until 11pm and we took advantage of that. There is a table tennis table and a pool table. We had a few extra coffee pods and tea bags added to our closet that they had placed there as extras (no cost to us). You are also close to the Austerlitz Pyramid (just down the road), which is nice to visit (note that this is not the Austerlitz where the 1805 battle took place, just a monument built in 1804 by Auguste de Marmont's soldiers, renamed "the Pyramid of Austerlitz" in 1806 after Napoleon Bonaparte's 1805 Austerlitz victory).

A truly exceptional B&B. The proprietor is an artist. The breakfasts are works of art and a feast for the palate. The location and decor are a feast for the eyes. There is a very nice terrace which affords a view of a lovely park. The proprietor is extremely gracious and helpful in all things. There is a bus stop just 300 meters away.
I stayed here as I was visiting Zeist for a meeting of a European intellectual society. Although their meeting will be elsewhere next year, I might book a short stay here on the way there or back just to enjoy the surroundings again.

Tucked back behind the owner's house, this B&B is just perfect. There are two private rooms with a shared kitchen area. Our room was large and cozy, and the bed was great. We were able to have dinner delivered from a restaurant nearby, and eat comfortably at the table in our room. We had every intention of exploring Zeist, but we spent the majority of the time in the cozy B&B. Lydia is a lovely, responsive host. We highly recommend this stay and hope to be back in the not-too-distant future.

We needed a one-nighter in transit and this accommodation was just right for us - great location near to the centre of Zeist, comfortable room with bath. Great breakfast, there was also a choice of dinner in the restaurant which we did not take as already had plans. Very welcoming host - would highly recommend

Zeist is a small town with a lot of shops and restaurants (also for take-away), a lot of options. You can walk in the forrest, shop, enjoy culture, go to Utrecht. You can go there by car, train of bus very easily

The city is very beautiful and relaxing. You have a lot of places to ride a bike, to visit and to have a nice meal. It is close to other interesting places in the Netherlands. It is a fantastic choice to stay in the NL.

Lovely to be able to cycle so safely.
Lovely to be able to cycle so safely. Easy to get to nearby Utrecht which has so much to offer. Zeist itself is pretty and very laid back. Nearby Amersfoort also worth a trip. Looking forward to going back.
Next time we'll use it as a base to go to Amsterdam, Delft and Gouda by train.

Zeist is a very picturesque town easily accessible by train. It has a good shopping precinct with some nice restaurants and a good market. It is very easy to get from Zeist to Utrecht either by bus or by bicycle.

Zeist is an excellent place for cyclists and enjoying nature. I actually chose it for its excellent central location in the Netherlands. However, if you are looking for a nice hotel with relaxing amenities in the countryside this is possibly not for you. If on the other hand you want something cheap and cheerful for a walking holiday it also might not be for you. If you are a company sending delegates then possibly great.

At the buget end you can get tasty coffee and filled rolls etc in Hema.
Reccommend Woudschoten Hotel and Conference centre as a good place to stay. Zeist has excellent transport links and cycle paths .
The hotel was very nice. It is located in a beautiful place and it includes a large park. Employees were very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this acommodation.
