Beautiful cottage, wonderful forrest surroundings. The room was spacious and the beds were very confortable. Our hosts Gerbrand and Mariska are so very friendly. The highligh was the amazing breakfast! 5⭐️
The breakfast was a well stocked hot buffet. We also liked we had a very quiet room on the ground floor with an outside patio with a view of the National park. Lots of greenery and Heather surrounding the hotel. There was plenty of free parking as well.
The Zeegse Duinen are just a stone throw away, so the the location is ideal for walking in the heather covered sandy landscape of the northern Nederlands. The breakfast was good, and free parking was nice.
very nice location if you want to explore Drenthe, bike for rent and friendly suggestions on how to explore the area. Hotel has a restaurant, but the town has two great ones as well.
