The location, in central West-Terschelling, 5 minutes from the ferry terminal, was ideal.
Fabulous restaurants nearby with fish and "vruchten van de zee".
Come with, on the ferry, or hire a bike at the hotel.

It is right by a bus stop that goes to the ferry terminal so very easy to reach. Facilities are good and staff are friendly. They were also kind enough to arrange a bottle of prosecco from my parents in my room for my birthday, which was a nice surprise!

It was great food, location with beautiful view and helpful staff.
This was our second visit to Terschelling. So much to see and do! We already have a list started for our next visit. We loved biking (and trying out a tandem!). Next time we would like to see if the kids can catch any crabs and try taking a boat ride.
Several yummy take out options. This was great since restaurants closed across the country.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Hotel Bornholm. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful in any situation. The dining room as well as both the breakfast and à la carte dinner were outstanding. The room was perfectly adequate. The bathtub was a welcome addition after a long day's hike.
Overall it made our stay on Terschelling ever more enjoyable.
Hotel Buren is centrally located in West-Terschelling, two blocks behind the high street. But it is, nevertheless, super quiet. Or at least it was in October 2022, when everything on the island itself was relatively quiet. I can't comment on high season. You are in no time in the high street, on the dunes, at the sea.
Great location, walking distance from the heart of West-Terschelling where all the shops and restaurants can be found. Our seafront “studio” had a wonderful view on the marina. The restaurant was very nice, we are well and the personnel was very friendly. We could rent bikes and store them in the garage.
We had a great stay here. Our kids had a lot of fun and things to do (pool, table tennis, air hocky, trampoline, organised events by the accomodation) I myself enjoyed the fitness room. The personal was very friendly and helpfull and the surrounding very quiet. I can realy recommand this hotel.
