Great little town, quaint cobbled streets and excellent cafes, restaurants and bars. Transportation around town is super easy no matter the mode and even if you want to go to Germany, Belgium or even just to Amsterdam for the day the train network and frequency to Venlo is good.

Venlo ouzes character with quaint winding pedestrianised streets and a good market on a Saturday. Lots of individual shops and loads of good restaurants and pavement cafes. Lovely waterfront cafes, our favourite is De Werf.

Quality furniture and furnishings.
Quality furniture and furnishings. Beautiful view over the shopping precinct, trees and parkland. Lovely breeze coming in the windows, perfect for early summer month 👏
Stairs were steep and difficult with luggage but once we reached our room we were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely, clean and luxurious it felt.

The room was rather expensive.
The room was rather expensive. Hotel miss managed my reservation and only had one night instead of two. The service in the restaurant was attrocias. Took forever to be waited on, I had to ask for the wine card 3 times before I finally received it. The waitress said she was busy as an excuse but it was more her unprofessional service & attitude.

Nice hotel very close to the train station and a short distance from the LF Maas cycle route. Very friendly staff that allowed us to park our bikes in an unused meeting room so that they are safe (and dry) during the night. Breakfast is very good with multiple choices for warm and cold breakfast, different kind of bread and good coffee. Rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfy.
the b&b is located in a residential area of venlo, very quiet, and very close to the city center, the owners of the house were very kind, hearty breakfast and very comfortable bedroom.
In addition, I thank the owner for being kind enough to leave me and my colleague at the train station in his car.
The food in the restaurant was absolutely beautiful and breakfast was also great. Staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the surroundings were lovely and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The room, The view, The breakfast, All Fantastic..
