The breakfast was very European - I'm American and have different expectations of breakfast. The parking was available, but so-so. This hotel is in the country a great getaway hotel. Our room was on the ground floor which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were larger than most rooms we stayed in while in Europe. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the meals were excellent.
Great location for walking. Venhorst is only a village, and only a walk about a mile away is the village of Handel which is much larger. This did lead us to confusion while searching for the property, and the fact that the long straight road which it was located had half in one name, and the otherhalf in the correct name.
