We stayed in a suite around the corner from the main hotel. It was very pretty, modern and spacious. It is just around the corner from restaurants, the church and shopping streets.

Good location, right off the motorway. Clean, quiet, check-in until at least midnight. Opposite the hotel there’s a petrol station and Mcdonalds.

Grand old hotel lots of character. Tried booking an afternoon tea on our arrival, (12/12)was told to come back as kitchen not open to confirm. Went back each day, on one occasion we were told to check with the restaurant , who told us they were too busy. Subsequent visits to the reception desk still had no confirmation. another staff member was looking into it and asked us to come back after the Andre Rieu dinner, we did but she wasn't there and other staff did not know. When checking out there was a charge for the tea on our bill, we had no idea that it had finally been booked as no one had left a message for us.
