We went by bicycle to this lovely B&B and were greeted by friendly hosts (sogar in deutsch, wenn wir es gewünscht hätten). A safe & dry place was offered for our bicycles.
The room itself + bathroom were clean and furnished in a modern style. The breakfast was nice arranged and left no wishes unfulfilled.
We can definitely recommend this B&B.
Located in Koudum, in a historic building, 45 km from Holland Casino Leeuwarden, B&B Unieck is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge.
Bed & Breakfast Rijsterbosch is located at the Rijsterbos in Rijs, also known for its watersport activities due to all the lakes in the surrounding area. IJsselmeer is only 3km away.
Then room was large and comfortable, although the decor seemed a little dated when compared to other hotels in the same price class. The were plenty of accessible power points. The most striking thing was the quiet location. There is very little traffic and the silence is incredible. The hotel's restaurant serves, without fail, excellent food and seems to be a popular venue. The outside terrace overlook a small harbour and the sunsets are something from out of this world. All the people looking after guests were, without fail, delightful.
- Breakfast was amazing: they had an excellent selection and were well-stocked.
- The hotel is right on the waterfront of Staveren's old port, so both the Enkhuizen boat mooring and the train station are right by it.
- The supermarket is 5-10 mins walk away.
- The beds were really comfortable.
- The bathroom had all of the essentials.
- There was a nice big TV in my room.
- Staff were lovely!
