We loved this place. It had such a lovely feel to it straight away. The apartment (no.4) we rented was dog friendly and was decorated very modern and spacious. Particularly liked the children's room which sleeps 3. The apartments are all set in a homely and intriguing courtyard setting (there's a carp pond/bird aviary and picnic tables) with an onsite popular pancake house attached, where the food was outstanding (the burgers were 10/10). We stayed 2 nights and explored Valkenburg during the day which was a 5 minute drive away, but us and our children were very happy to get back to the apartment to eat at the restaurant and to play at their onsite play park:) An absolute gem x

Bastion Hotel Geleen is located near the A67 and the A2, a 10-minute drive from Maastricht Airport and a 15-minute drive from the center of Maastricht.
We had a wonderful time. The place and surroundings are beautiful. The hosts are lovely people - very welcoming, kind and friendly. The apartment was perfect - very clean and cosy with all the amenities you could want.

The location is excellent, not far from Maastricht; the garden borders a meadow with sheep. Behind the meadow surprises blossoming fruit trees and yesterday we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. My travel companion cooked a wonderful meal. During our visit lot's of artist exhibited their artwork in the village Schimmert, we visited these expositions.
