Very nice hotel: great style, excellent location. We stayed in the executive suite on the 2nd floor. The room was fantastic. Nice decoration, so nice to have a separate living room. Two sinks are also much appreciated. The room has blinds both on the inside and on the outside, so you can really make it completely dark when sleeping. Staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was great, except for the quality of the coffees (do-it-yourself machine). Parking is possible (not free) in the parking garage directly underneath the hotel.
Hotel Dux is located alongside Roermond’s Roer River, around the corner from the Markt Square. It features an in-house restaurant and accommodations with bathrooms and a flat-screen TV.

hotel location perfect.
car park available or municipal car park we used just down the road at reasonable price.
Our only reservation, although the rooms were superior quality we were travelling as two couples the rooms we had requested and the reason we were staying there was the river view at the front of the hotel. The other couple had a fabulous room at the front overlooking the river as requested and we had a room at the rear with no view only brick walls of the other building and another room close by looking into ours. We asked to be moved but to no avail. This was such a shame as it was the reason we had booked it. Dont let this put you off staying just make sure you have confirmation of the room you want

Not a huge place, but I had the advantage of living there for 3 years in the 70's. Our visit was to visit Dutch friends and reaquaint ourselves with the place. I also have an RAF relative, sadly killed during the war and buried in the local Churchyard.
Quiet a busy town with a good Market, Marina and watersports. The shops good with a large Outlet Village too. Many restaurants and places to eat.

I knew Roermond very well having lived down the road for 9 years. Roermond is an excellent place to visit both from a shopping perspective, the Designer Outlet is very popular and parking (very large) is €4 for 24 hours. The old town is lovely with varied and good restaurants/cafes. Plenty of activities if you like, walking, cycling and water sports. the road network is excellent with Maastrich/Eindhoven/Dusseldorf nearby.

It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see. Most people come to visit the Designer Outlet Mall, but there’s more to the city. There are beautiful churches, a nice quay with cafe’s and restaurants. You can also visit nearby German cities and walking routes.

All was excellent! Starting from the warm welcome, good room, variety of cold drinks in a fridge, their own delicious sweets and chocolate, king's breakfast. Just across the road from the Outlet shopping center. If I am back in Roermond, will stay in this perfect place once more.
The decor was amazing, the attention go detail was just out of this world. Warm welcome given by Carl. The location was great, smack bang in the middle of Roermond. Very spacious room. Close to the outlets.
