I used to live 20 minute cycle ride from here so have been there many times. Very nice town, the promenade is a lovely walk or bike ride. Would encourage people to hire bikes and explore. There is a fantastic bike ride through the dunes very scenic. The beach is very big with restaurants dotted all along. A really nice place to visit.

It's a nice beach town, although it's getting expensive. Hotel Van Oranje and the Beach Hotel have been demolished and under construction for about 4 years now, which removes a few hundred rooms from the available inventory in town. And the replacement for those will include condos selling for millions of Euro.
The beach is nice to walk on, lay on and watch the people go by, or go for a swim. The boardwalk along the seafront is also nice and lots of restaurants. The shopping area is also nice.
Many things to do in the area: Kukenhof, Leiwen, Space Museum in Katwijk.

To start with it is a beautifull wee town near Capital city Amsterdam. It has superb sandy beach with nice walks in Spring time. Very convenient to travel to Keukenhof gardens, interesting villages, convenient to travel any direction ( Amsterda, Utrecht, Den Haag, Roterdam, etc.) Modern architecture, not big but satisfactory shopping street with convenient and affordable parking lots.

Very nice place, good facilities close by, you can cycle but car is better to get around as beaches and town a few kilometers from the camp site. Most Dutch speak good English so easy to communicate. Close to Amsterdam and the Hague, about 45 minutes by car away.

Wonderful beaches! I am sure I am getting back there! Noordwijk is an excellen place for one day trips to observe Amsterdam metroipolis. There is a lot of sightseeings around and that's why I would recommend to book plenty long stay there in order to see the surroundings.

I love the sea and dunes but I couldn't go there because of my disability. It was too far to walk to. Another time I need a place with sea view.
The hotel restaurant was closed but I ordered food through an app and it was brought to me in no time and very good.
On my next visit I hope to have my own transport so that I can go to the beach and dunes.

We had such a amazing stay at Alexander Hotel.
The rooms were very good, clean and well equipped.
All the staff members were very friendly, helpful and everybody understood the meaning of hospitality. We really felt at home!
The first evening we had an amazing dinner at Dylans, the second day with enjoyed our Kingsize Sun Lounger at the beach arranged by the hotel and our dinner by sun down at Alexander Beach Club. Picture perfect!
It was very nice to use Azzurro’s training facilities during our stay!
We will definitely come back!
Very nice hotel/guesthouse and stay. The building interior is dated, but that definitely has its charms. The breakfast was straightforward and nice. It was very quiet, and it's a short walk to the beach and restaurants, as well as a supermarket and the bus stops. Would stay there again.
Nice and well decorated rooms, very smooth communication with hotel manager, clean, quiet area, 5’ walk to the beach. Kitchen basic but all you need for a simple meal is available.
We booked this hotel specifically to watch the Flower Parade, which was perfect. The parade passed right in front of the hotel. It’s also just a few minutes walk to the beach.
