Naarden is worth seeing, but compared to other Dutch cities, not a place with enough going on. I think if you are looking for a quiet get away it’s a great place with a feeling of family gathering town.
We had one of the best meals of our trips at the hotel in town.
You can walk the city walls to view the moat. Naarden is a good starting point for day trips to local sights of interest.

Naarden and especially are great to stay.
Naarden and especially are great to stay. Very good restaurants, bakery and small shops. You can see and visit a lot already directly here - Naarden, Blaricum, Laren. But is it also a very good starting place for the rest of the Netherlands being nearly in the heart of the country. Everything is easily reached from here.

Beautiful decor. Cosy yet spacious, Clean and very well equipped in the kitchen (the microwave is also a convection oven to clarify other reviews) - with a coffee bag machine.
Kids loved the loft bedroom.

Very nice boutique hotel in one of the prettiest small towns in the Netherlands. Comfortable and spacious room. We particularly liked the little outdoor area attached to the room. We found ample free parking at the end of the street.
All was OK! Parking by apartment also OK, no problem to find it.
Naarden is very close to Amsterdam, with car from Naarden to Gein and then with Metro into Amsterdam. Free parking in Gein.
just perfect. amazing mansion close to amsterdam, but still amidst nature. lovely walks (forest, heather, water). it’s the dutch version of The Hamptons. lovely hosts. highly recommended.
