It is right by a bus stop that goes to the ferry terminal so very easy to reach. Facilities are good and staff are friendly. They were also kind enough to arrange a bottle of prosecco from my parents in my room for my birthday, which was a nice surprise!
Hotel Buren is a cozy family hotel, only a 5-minute walk from the harbor and the lighthouse. The hotel has a very convenient location for the ferry, village center, and nature reserve.

Location is perfect. You can walk to both coasts and Hoorn is right in the center of the island. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. The food was amazing - evening meals were perfect and the breakfast was very complete. Due to Covid restrictions and closed restaurants, they even allowed us to make a pack lunch every day. We stayed in the garden house, which is cosy and very comfortable. The beds were a little too soft for us but that's a matter of personal taste, I am sure. All in all, excellent accommodation and very recommendable.
A very cozy small hotel, with just 3 rooms and very good restaurant downstairs. The room is spacious and very comfortable, everything was spotless clean.
