The first day while i bring 2 packages, the cleaning man very nice and help me to go to reception floor. The receptionist is pretty lady and very kind.

A tidy and relaxed town. We liked the mining museum, which was unpretentious but well-presented and very-well explained in English/German/Dutch by a local guy with connections to the industry. The other big draw is the Roman baths (extensive unearthed foundations of the whole complex, nicely presented inside a large modern warehouse structure). Rail station is not far from Tulip hotel and is well-served to Aachen and Maastricht.

Heerlen is small, welcoming and clean -- lots of nice restaurants and a fabulous Greek restaurant "El Greco" on Pancratiusplein 39. We would go to the El Greco again and again! Indoor skiing at Landgraaf not far away.

The public transport is convenient, if you plan your trip in advance.

Despite its modern architecture, the hotel is warm, welcoming and charming. The rooms are really soundproof and our suite was spacious. The bed is immense and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well equipped.
The breakfast offered a large choice of fresh products and the breakfast room is very well designed and cozy.
The atmosphere, the room, the sincere intended service, the total environment, the restaurant it was all a touch better then my expectations which were already high for this location. I was really impressed if not blown away with this gem with its level of service I would not expect (at all) in The Netherlands.
Authentic and unique location. Very cozy feeling. Lovely people running the place. I would not want to go anywhere else when I am staying in Heerlen again. Everything was well taken care off. Good breakfast and a welcoming drink with a nice welcoming chat accompanied with it.
The food was amazing in general. I didn't pay for the breakfast or for the dinner upfront, but at the end we ate everyday in the restaurant as the food was delicious in a reasonable price.
