"When you're here, you're family" is what it feels like to stay here for me. There's the flexibility with breakfast and the personal attention, should you want or need it. I think my favorite thing is to sleep with the windows open and hear the old church bells chime the hour and half-hour. The ferry is a few minutes away by foot and the train station, a short, scenic walk.

I love the beds in this hotel... they are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is second to none... so many options, breads, cheeses, fresh eggs, meats, fish, fruits, cereals, teas, coffees, fresh honeycomb... service of the staff is also GREAT,
Drove and took the backroads on my way to Gorinchem.
Drove and took the backroads on my way to Gorinchem. Roads were narrow thru the country area and sometimes uphill and downhill. Laahavvvvv it!!!..it was a rainy/stormy weather and it just made me reminisce of the countryside were I grew from. The view and vibe was amazing. Still plan to go back and take the backroads to explore again.

Lovely little hotel in the middle of a charming town. The hotel is spread over 5 or 6 separate traditional buildings which have been very sympathetically modernised and decorated. Rooms were very well equipped and comfortable. Only negatives were the modern opaque glass doors on the toilet / shower cubicle and the stairs were very steep. Breakfast was really lovely and the staff very nice and helpful. Super people.
Location is lovely. The outside bar area overlooking the river is a lovely place for a drink and our meal at the restaurant was very good.
Gorinchem is very pretty, but this smallish restaurant near the river is well worth a look.
I love this hotel, it is so clean and inviting and the staff are always so welcoming and polite. The only thing I was disappointed in this year was they have changed the menu which I did not believe was so good.
