super noisy, as sleeping inside a piano, so max sound transfer. rooms have worden floors and ceilings which makes for max noisy acoustics.
You hear each and every doodsteek, the shower up to single water droplets.
the management say they never had complaints.... lol... the are like the management of the British postal service saying the same to local post office owners....

Quaint and charming little town, we stayed for one night but actually we didn’t need to. We saw everything we wanted to in one day (on foot) and had dinner there. The nature is peaceful and beautiful and the Fries people living there are all very friendly. The planetarium was cool and the Museum Martena was really cool bcs we it was a little bit interactive.

It's a charming small town with a rich history which remains...
It's a charming small town with a rich history which remains mostly intact. We went for the Eise Eisinga Planetarium which was absolutely worth the trip. We also highly recommend the city museum, Museum Martena, a 'city castle' from 1506 which also has a nice garden, especially in the spring. I would have liked to visit the grand city hall as well, but it was closed that day.

The location is perfectly situated next to the city's shopping district, making it the ideal place to be for a car free holiday.
The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and well maintained, creating a lively atmosphere compared to the minimalistic or stale feeling you get from a basic hotel room.
Add to this that the host is kind and approachable, and it becomes hard not to rate it a perfect score.
I'll definitely be visiting again.
The breakfast was exceptional. Continental style with a remarkably varied choice of bread/sweetbreads, boiled egg, yogurt, cheese, etc. The hotel has a very good cafe/restaurant on the ground floor where we enjoyed a late dinner and lunch the next day. Our family had two rooms which were both spacious, very comfortable, and looked recently renovated.
Tjarda was a great hostess and super helpful.
We loved the Fries vibe and the BnB was amazing. We travel quite a bit- but this was one of the best. Close to bnb is a lovely restaurant. Very reasonable and super staff

Lovely place, the staff very friendly, hotel very accommodating. We also had meals which were very tasty. Breakfast was too. Nice setting and close to the centre. Quiet.
The stuffs were super friendly. What did we love the most is the location and the position of the Hotel. Perfect place to stay for couple during the holiday.
