The host Hans is very welcoming and accomodating. The room was so clean and spacious and very nicely decorated. Every day it would be cleaned and amenities topped up. We loved having a coffee machine in the room and a balcony over looking the main street. The location is perfect with the main strip of resturaunts about a minute walk away. Thanks very much!

This hotel is run and owned by the Salvation Army, so it was good to see groups of 'vulnerable' people having a holiday at quite favourable rates (so a staff member told me). It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and I would certainly like to stay here again. The staff were helpful and friendly and the housing keeping and cleaning were very good and better than a 'higher brand' hotel I'd just come from in Amsterdam, albeit it was a bit odd that no cleaning at all had been done when I returned the one Sunday evening I'd spent there - faith reasons/no cleaning on a Sunday:)?? The breakfast is fine and a jolly Greek chef will even cook eggs and bacon to order! The grounds are spacious and beautiful and there is even a volleyball court! It's set in an equally beautiful rural and forested area if you enjoy walks or cycling trips...
