I really liked the hotel. In the heart of the city, everything is within walking distance. Very clean. Wonderful view from the window. The room has a kettle, coffee, tea. Breakfast was included. The location was good for me as it was near my work . The room was very nice and the food was excellent. The breakfast was ordered at the table, cooked to order and served by a member of staff and not the usual buffet set up that you usually get. This was very nice too! The staff were very helpful also. The ambiance of the hotel was very relaxing after a day at work!

The standard seemed not especially modern but it was comfortable, clean and well attended to. The proprietor was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I could park my bike in a large shed round the back, which is locked up at night. Breakfast was good, I thought the coffee was above average! For the evening meal the proprietor pointed me to an excellent restaurant a few hundred metres down the road. A nice relaxing overnight stay on my bike tour!

I received a very warm welcome from all the staff at Villa Wanrooy upon my arrival. They really make you feel like part of the family. The room was clean and beautifully decorated with all the necessities available. The hotel itself is very relaxing and my only regret is that I was only able to stay for one night. I am also very grateful for the delicious vegan breakfast that they provided at short notice. What a feast! I will be visiting Doetinchem again in the future and will definitely be staying at Villa Wanrooy.
this is the second time we stayed her and the welcome and service were just as good as the first time. We had free parking and the hotel is easy to find. Individual attention to service was much appreciated - we will stay there again!
A lovely room with nice clean bathroom and thoughtful little details. double glass doors onto a beautiful tranquil garden. the hosts are absolutely stars and went out of their way to help me when I had issues getting to doetinchem.
