Hotel de Koophandel, hotel in Delft

Located on the central Beestenmarkt, Hotel de Koophandel is surrounded by cafés and restaurants in the heart of Delft.

Was clean, quiet and comfortable. We traveled to Delft from the Uk for a friends wedding and this hotel was located perfectly to allow us to walk to the wedding as well as explore Delft on the other days. Lots of lovely restaurants opposite the hotel so was perfect to go out for dinner with a baby.

Hotel Arsenaal Delft, hotel in Delft

This is an excellent hotel. Elegant and sophisticated. The staff were exceptional and happy to assist with anything. As soon as you enter the hotel is a calm haven and the staff are friendly, organised and professional. Our room was spacious with amazing floor to ceiling windows overlooking the canal. The air conditioning was fabulous and very quiet. We were able to walk to the main square from the hotel and even my mother who walks with a cane was able to get around to the best parts of the city. We would stay here again.

Hoeve BuytenHout, hotel in Delft

Set in Delft, 3.2 km from TU Delft, Hoeve BuytenHout offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Hoeve Buytenhout is one of the best B&B’s where we have ever stayed. It is very tastefully decorated. Our room was very large (and apparently not the largest). The bathroom is also very big - especially for a Dutch property. The bed was super comfortable although I didn’t like the pillows - but that is a personal choice. It is super quiet - we didn’t hear the other guests at all. The dining room is beautiful. And the breakfast was excellent (bread, croissant, eggs, bacon, french toast, charcuterie, cheese, homemade yoghurt bowl with jam, fruit and granola, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea). Amazing. All served at our table. We felt very spoiled. We didn’t need to eat again until the evening. The exterior of the property is really nice. Beautiful planting, seating areas and the canal right at the end of the garden. We will definitely have to visit again in the summer to enjoy the exterior. Keep up the good work. You have a beautiful B&B with an excellent service.

I loved the text that arrived a few days before arrival asking me if we were celebrating anything! Really thoughtful & pragmatic gesture that was sincerely appreciated! Coming from abroad there’s only so much you can carry & organise beforehand so it really made our trip extra special! Also sending an important forgotten item for us after checking out, understanding the stress involved in international travel! Breakfast was delightful & late check out, gorgeous & generous! Thank you 🥰💐

FAQs about hotels in Delft

Beautiful Like a Porcelain Doll

Delft is a picturesque Dutch city with canals and historic buildings, situated between Rotterdam and The Hague. Birthplace of the famous Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, this destination is also home to the iconic Delft blue porcelain and the University of Technology.

Like a phoenix from the ashes, the 17th century Town Hall of Delft was destroyed on 1618 and rebuilt by the architect Hendrick de Keyser. Located across from the City Hall in the centre of the Market square, the Protestant church of Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) with the imposing tower is connected with the Dutch Royal Family.

Resting place for Piet Hein, Maarten Tromp and Johannes Vermeer, the Oude Kerk (Old Church) was built in 1240 and is one of the main landmarks of the city along with the Prinsenhof. Booking.com offers a variety of apartments and hotels in the centre of Delft.

The Delftware factories with the blue ceramics and the hand-painted porcelain are definitely something that travellers should not miss while visiting the Netherlands. Weather permitting, you can enjoy a local beer on a canal terrace.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 40 minutes away by car or public transport. Delft railway station has train connections to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Leiden.

A very pretty town with a charming antique market on a Saturday, an impressive main square, lovely canals, lots of churches and of course a windmill. If you like pottery the Delft pottery is also very nice! We visited for the Jazz festival which was fabulous, a very buzzy, friendly and lively atmosphere, and all free. There are lots of bars and eateries, we took the canal tour when we saw the smallest museum in Europe, the view of one of Vermeers famous paintings and learnt a lot about the buildings and their history and we hired bikes for the day and rode one of the many routes from Delft. Obligatory when you are in the Netherlands!

A great choice for relaxing stay, good hotels, plenty of different options for food, clean, good for cycling, nice canals with choices for guided canal rides or self drive hire boats, good covered parking at a reasonable price for 24 hours, good flat walking with easy canal crossing bridges, Delft china shops, great history.

Delft is so pretty and a delight to visit. I can recommend the canal trip A visit to the Delft Pottery if you love china Train and bus stations make for easy access to everything. I can highly recommend a visit it to the nicest bakery I have been in. Its called Let's Bake a Story, you pass it on the canal trip on the way back. Run by two sisters, who are just a delight, and put all their love into their banking and that reflects at every level. Lets Bake a Story is a must-do in beautiful Delft

Delft is at the heart of The Netherlands, a city with both a student vibe and loads of art and history. It's convenient for visiting other cities too, and less expensive than staying in - say - Amsterdam or Haarlen.

The location is great! just outside Delft train station and almost at the centre of the town. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I could strongly feel they really enjoyed what they were doing and welcomed each guest wholeheartedly. It's a combination of both student accommodation and hotel guest rooms. The whole place was very energetic with a fantastic feel of being young (again), pretty like a university hall with common areas on the ground floor. I stayed on the top floors, nice and quiet, and the view of the town was great.

Good location in Delft - was given a paper map on check-in which, combined with a guide book at the hotel enabled us to do a fab walking tour around the town in the short time we had there. Room was very comfortable with a good TV and a kettle. Good bike storage area. Nice buffet breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.
