The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.
There is a really nice lounge to have some drinks. We came late due to traffic and they were very helpfull.
Don't forget to make reservations for the restaurant. We didn't eat there but we definitely will. The michellin star restaurant we won't miss next time.

Breakfast was good. The price was in line with other accommodations I assume (at least double the price of the South Africa equivalent)
you need a car. The restaurant is expensive. The rooms can get cold but it was November and there are heaters. The surrounding area is lovely. Its 10 minutes away from the nearest village and 20 minutes from Enschede and other towns. The whole area is quieter than the west side of The Netherlands

Resort Bad Boekelo is our new favourite holiday destination. A place where one can truly relax and recharge. Comfortable room with all necessary facilities and direct access to nature. Spacious and warm bathroom. Extremely comfy beds. And drinking your morning coffee whilst listening to the birds' songs and breathing clean forest air - priceless. Outstanding restaurant - I had my best cheeseburger ever. Especially if you combine it with a Grolsch Weizen!
Very nice personel and Hotel. Helpfull and reacting on any wishes. Everything from the beggining was perfectly arranged.
I highly recommend this hotel also for vaccational purpouses.
