Lovely hotel, really loved the oldy worldly feel with modern facilities. Staff are lovely and nothing is to much trouble. Great location in Central Groningen.
Nice breakfast and dinner. No lift and difficult staircase. In need of full renovation. Towels very much worn, in need of replacement. Free parking around the hotel and the central square 24/7. Around 10km from Groningen. It could be cheaper. Recomended; Not sure.

the village and the location of the hotel close to a canal are great. it is not far from Groningen and easy to get to. the adjoining pub and restaurant are great and popular.
I knowthe hotelfrom my childhood andthis was the first time to stay here. The restaurant is a social place, really Dutch style. Reakfast was ok, nothing special.
