The location on the water is really nice --- you can just sit in the restaurant or bar or terrace and watch boats go by. Our room was well appointed and clean, if a bit spare. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Finally, the restaurant was outstanding. Really thoughtful and delicious dishes.

Akkrum has a very nice village, excellent cheese shop, fresh bakery and good supermarket furthermore nice boutiques and cute restaurants. Location is excellent, close to the village. We had lunch at Goerres and at The Cleef, both nice. Easy to get around. We biked the Pondjes route, really excellent. The info in the accommodation is perfect, lots of biking tours mentioned ad well as restaurants.
