We stay at the Joy Hotel for our Ajax game at the Johan Cruijff Arena. Good location, only 1km from the stadium. Fast and easy check in. Room was clean and it has a decent view. Bed was on the narrow side but actually super comfy. We could also park our car for 15€/day.
Lots of small local shops for food, drink, etc. Pastries nearby delightful, coffee shops short walk away, Thursday market across the road for fruit, veg, cheese, meat, etc.
Host showed where to safely park our car for the duration, very safe.

The flat is beautiful, well equipped and nicely decorated. The quiet country setting is a welcome rest from the chaos of Amsterdam. There is plenty of free parking and the WiFi worked without issues.
Getting something to eat is only a 6-8 minute drive to Weesp. If you plan to go to Amsterdam drive the 5 minutes to the Park and Ride lot and board the subway for the 25 minute ride to downtown.

Verry nice place. Peaceful and nice history. Very close to Amsterdam. Marvelous for biking and walking. Nice restaurants, friendly people. This is typically the kind of village you drive to when you're on the highway. You see the church from the highway and you think 'lets go there instead of going to an ugly highway restaurant'.

We love that it was a historic old building, and that the restaurant and breakfast was served in there. Breakfast and then dinner at the restaurant was delicious. The only tricky thing for us is that it was all in Swedish so we had our Google app out.
We were very fortunate to have one of the units cabins that were built into the hill and overlook the lovely green paddock . It was lovely and private . The accommodation is very accessible to the train station and very handy to both Amsterdam and Utrecht.
Great location with easy access to Amsterdam central via Train, Bus and Taxi. The staff was very friendly, helpful and liked the local recruitment "young & old" cleaning staff always willing to help. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast at Ollies Coffee Café excellent and dinner at Abbey itself superb, décor recently & stylish renovated. Cozy bar for drinks in general. Will certainly return to Abbey Abcoude when next in the region.
Magical place. We were searching for place close to Amsterdam but far from civilization and this is it. Such a lovely location and great comfortable rooms and people owning this place are the great match so everything fits well. We will come back for sure.
