It was a bit of a splurge for our budget but so worth it!! Such a chill time in an amazing spot! Tasty food and sweet staff. Stay hear and experience what this lake has to offer!!!! The water is warm and perfect for a swim. You have free use of all the water vessels throughout the day. We watched howler monkeys eat their breakfast as the sun rose the next morning. So many beautiful birds. A variety of food. Across the parking lot is a little shop to get some snacks/ veggies/eggs if you want to use the kitchen. Many different hang out spots to set up at for the day. Don’t miss out on this magical place on your travels!

This was our second time at Pacaua Lodge. We love the hotel, the location, the pool and the amazing view of Apoyo Lagoon. The rooms are super nice. We had booked the suite this time around, simply wonderful. The food and drinks are excellent, too!

We took a private double room which was amazing, clean with enough space.
It was well decorated.
The place has amazing vibes, right on the beach with many relaxing spots.
The food was good, nice cocktails. Free kayak, standing paddle and the view is amazing!!
La Laguna is a beautiful place to spend time. The water is super nice and clean. One of my favorite places in Nicaragua. Every single time I’m visiting Nicaragua I’m going to Laguna Apoyo for the day or staying overnight. Love it

I loved this place.
I loved this place. It’s such a magical little spot with free kayaks, a spa and a restaurant. It felt like a little luxury break but it was very affordable. The volunteers were super friendly too and put on interesting activities like basket weaving, acroyoga, hikes and trivia. A lot of people do this as a day trip for Granada but If you have the time I would definitely reccomend staying longer!

This is one of the best places to visit in Nicaragua. The calm, clean water is relaxing and serene. There are lots of great places to stay and eat, we've been to lots of them and it's always a great experience. You can't go wrong here.
