sea food is not so expensives compared with kuala lumpur. deep sea fishes , lobsters.....paku vege...is good
grab car available .....all nearby location for food.rm4 to rm6 fare.
do not waste your time to visit the cocoa museum....charge rm50 per head and need to make appointment . [ waste of time ]
see the famous jci clock tower with the fish, crab , prawn roundabout- FOC

I am a regular before the MCO.
I am a regular before the MCO. This trip is my first visit and after that will be on monthly basis. I love the foods here but since MCO, Many Businesses closed down but some still survived.
Some new outlets and will take time to explore all this in this few months. I will always support the local businesses and spend my money locally indirectly helping to boost the local economy.
Let hope every breadwinners will be able to put foods on the table for their family. It is time to move on and work hard after the pandemic. May GOD bless everyone .....

The seafood was superb there but it will be great if list of good restaurant provided as guide . If buying fish or dry fish back home do bargain for good price, but it is still cheaper than Kuala Lumpur.

Tawau is a rather quiet city with bright beginnings and future. Ethnicities shine brightly in such a delightful small town. Tawau will grow because of its unexplored beauty of sun, sea, and shore. Tawau is also famous as a fishing ground in the Sulu and Sulawesi Seas. The fish market in the Tawau is a real eye-opener with different species for sale - whether legal or not legal. Small size hammerhead, bull sharks, different species of stingrays and barracudas are all in the fish market. The Sabah state government should encourage a fishing canning economy in Sabah to avail employment opportunities for my countrymen. Nevertheless, once Covid-19 is over, this place will be swamped by tourists from East Asia and Malaysia. Adios and those that wish to laze in Tawau, by all means.

To ensure all defect in the room done rectify before customers check in and to training all staff how to appreciate our guest. If the hotel in tawau want to be good need more training for all staff all section
Though the hotel is small and requires a walk up to the second level, this minor inconvenience is easily overlooked due to its exceptional cleanliness. The housekeeping staff clearly takes great pride in their work. The hotel’s proximity to 24-hour eateries and a nearby self-laundry facility adds to its convenience.
Convenient location in a busy mall complex with lots of great food options all within walking distance. Modern, comfortable rooms. A solid choice in Tawau if you are visiting or stopping over on your way to Semporna or a rainforest excursion.

OVERALL GOOD
Breakfast was acceptable for the given price. The location of the hotel was excellent, however, the parking is very limited. Check-in and check out was very efficient and the staff are very polite and friendly.
Strategic location, lots of eateries, convenient stores and pharmacies within walking distance. The room is clean and spacious. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly.
