Taiping brings back to our lovely childhood memories from its buildings, ambience and its natures.
We plan for a leisure trip and spent our time at Zoo Taiping, Telegraph Museum and Lake Taiping.
We stayed at The Halt Tiny House near Simpang Halt, it was very lovely and giving 60-70s era and we had so much fun for the staycation. We surely will comeback to make more memories.

It's just it rains all the time ! so must have umbrella with you no matter its a long or short walk .

A beautiful and historical towns with lots of things to discover. The food here are nice and very cheap. The well maintained Lake Garden and the hiking trails of Bukit Larut. Most of all, come and experience the warmth and friendliness of the Taiping folks.

Lots of greenery with the lake and park, plus good to hire bicycles even if a little pricy (RM5-20 per 30 mins depending on the type).
Several historical places and an interesting Museum of Perak.
Plenty of places to eat and enjoy local flavours.

The locarion of the hotel is just awesome. It’s connected to a mall, so if you need to withdraw cash or have a quick run to the pharmacy or buy anything, it’s pretty convenient. It’s alos opposite a local foodcourt with a variety of local dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner at cheap prices. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Taiping Lake, and even the Taiping Zoo.
My go-to hotel each time I'm in Taiping - been staying there for years. Good location and very convenient, with ample carparks as well despite being the rooms are fully occupied.
Thanks to the prompt action by the hotel staff to resolve the leaking aircond in the room.
We already expected that the room might be a little smaller with the price that we paid. So we actually quite OK with it. The location very strategic as have lotus, taiping mall and aeon closer to the hotel. The hotel room was clean when we first enter.
The hotel is located right in front of the Taiping Lake, we enjoy very much watching a very beautiful lake view scenery in morning. The bed is comfortable.
