The lake castle is surrounded by greenery, and it's owner, Mr. Lucas, personally guided us through his private museum collection. The museum, with its warm hospitality, is truly remarkable. Here, one wouldn't expect any activities (only karaoke is provided), as it resembles an isolated and tranquil location. A truly rural tourism experience.

A little bit of small adventures to go back to nature and enjoy the natural beauty of sunrise, clouds, raimbows and cool waters at a waterfall. And of course, enjoying the fresh air in the town.
The minus point is that the main thing which is trumpeted even on the local town bus i.e. the mining tunnel has been closed for about 2 years for 'maintenance works' is STILL closed to date.
Still a worthwhile trip to enjoy the simpler and natural beauty of local surroundings.

My favourite visit was the rainbow waterfall and Panoramic Hill. Overall the township is calm and quiet. Most places can be reach by foot.
The hawker centre at the township is the best place for the food, they open early such a 5am but close in the afternoon.
It become harder to get dinner since only few restaurant operate at later afternoon or night.

Stayed for four nights, which would ordinarily be too long for a small village like this, but I really enjoyed this place.
A few of the tourist attractions weren't open such as the Crystal Museum (owner fears Covid) and the mines (under maintenance since the floods in December 2021).
The trip to the Rainbow Waterfall was amazing; but not suitable for kids under 8.
The museum was a nice place to hang out. Crossing the suspension bridges was fund.
But most of all, the people are friendly and the food in this town is unique.
Don't forget to fill up your car since there's no gas station here for over 20 km.
The owner, Leon was very accommodative. He try his best to give us his best service despite short of staff.
The location of the hotel was strategic. Close to both hanging bridge and it’s situated inside the village and next to the river. There is also a little swimming pool with water from the mountain. Bedsheets and towels were clean. Bed also comfortable.
As it resides at the end of the road (only road), it is a very quiet spot. The owner is very friendly, personally show us the surrounding areas within his hotel / castle. He shows us his private musium; a relatively extensive collections of stuffs which he has gather over his lifetime.
