Its a nice hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are just wow , great interior and spacious. The food also was very nice especially the breakfast was well spread.

You really need a local guide to make sure you stay in areas that are safe and clean. If you do your research, there are lot of amazing things to see and explore. 10/10 would recommend island hopping boat tour for a day.

3. girls! no make-up when you diving as your make up will kill the carol!

Semporna is where you have to take boats to go to the nearby...
Semporna is where you have to take boats to go to the nearby island like Mabul, Bumbum or Mataking for vacation or just to go to diving sites. Small town but you can find everything that you need there. They even have Starbucks now. If you want to save some cash, just stay at the hotel/hostel in Semporna and just take a daily trip for your diving / snorkeling / island hoping. It's so much easier to find food here in Semporna

Semporna is a city that located in Sabah state of Malaysia . The city is blessed with their beautiful natural environment such as Sea , Island and their Hill . Their local people is very friendly and you can buy so much seafood with cheap price . Overall if you want come to Malaysia especially Sabah state then you must go to Semporna to feel their unique environment and beautiful sea . Dont worry about the accomodation and transportation because local people there always ready to give you a guide and they also can speak english as well .

The majority of people from Europe, the US, Japan and China who went to Semporna are divers or the least snorkelers. The main attraction is Sipadan which is one of the most beautiful places to dive in the world. There are numerous resorts with best facilities for diving, The waterfront at Semporna is the place to go for seafood restaurants.

Semporna's islands are amazing and the sea is beautiful.
Semporna's islands are amazing and the sea is beautiful. However, The Taowu Airport and Semporna have a long distance. I suggest that tourists not book early or late night flight to avoid taking taxi by yourself. This may cause RM 150 fare. You can ask your hotel for a shared van to your hotel. In this case, you might just spend RM40 per person.

I really did enjoy the stay at Timba Garden a lot! The place is really sweet and with love for the detail.
Chai the owner of the place is a super nice & friendly guy who tries to fulfill all the needs of his guests. He helped us with a lot of stuff and showed us around semporna. He is also a dive instructor in case you want to go and try that out. In my eyes the best hotel- experience I ever made.
When I’ll be again in semporna I’m going to visit this place again!
Very clean, very comfortable bed, large room, great generous breakfast and small kitchenette facilities. Secure. Friendly responsive staff.
Is about 10 minutes drive out of Semporna town and grab is easy to get to and from.
A note that rooms all open onto the common area so can be a bit noisy at breakfast but they provide ear plugs. Highly recommend.
