Despite being around for more than 2 decade, the hotel definitely surprised me with its well-maintained facilities and building. We got the room with bathtub and I love the size of it. Also, the breakfast range is super good and the food were delicious. Kudos to the chef! I was really surprised. The last time I was in Eastin Hotel was back in early 2000 for our company's annual dinner. I highly recommend this place for its location and service. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

Plenty to do in Malaysia, PJ or elsewhere, esp if you are from America, Europe and have not experienced Asia. Just shopping, eating and walking about without going to any specific sites is enough. The malls are amazing, the service is largely great in Malaysia and the prices reasonable. Factor more time for travel in between places and the Grab App is great for booking cabs etc. though traffic jams at peak hours can be long sometimes. Travel times are averagely 20-30 minutes. Train system is also clean and comfortable, though waiting times are a tad long. Some areas in PJ are not so pedestrian friendly.

Good food everywhere, you may find good and affordable classics like chicken rice, pork noodles, western food, japanese food here.
Plenty of mall to walk around, best thing about Petaling Jaya is that taking a short train trip (45 mins+) will bring you to the heart of KL.

The eight-lane highway is quite loud and disturbing both day and night, making it nearly impossible to leave the window open. Actually, the window does not seal perfectly, which also contributes to the loudness at night. As a result, we've been having terrible sleep every night due to the noise from the passing vehicles on the highway.

all the way coming from Singapore. i was experience luxury hotels in Singapore and other countries. for Malaysia i have traveled many places and experience with hotel. compare to among all the hotels in Malaysia this hotel really too good and soo much comfortable. highly recommended.
Room is clean but seems like a lot of the room has a confiscated sign. I don't really think it is safe for solo female traveller to stay. For the price I believe it's reasonably affordable compare to other hotel around the area.
Location! The centrality of the Petaling Jaya area is great. Hotel is directly connected to 1Utama & the MRT train station. Rooms are a little larger than average. Staff were great too.
