The room is too small than the picture show in the apps. We dont have window. The shower gel not enough for 2 guests. We also not served a coffee sachets to drink coffee. They dont even served mineral water or plain water for drinking. We need to go downstair to lobby to drink plain water. Very hard to park our motorbike infront of the hotel too..no space!!

The beach was clean with plenty of activities.
The beach was clean with plenty of activities. We took a boat ride, and the guide was super friendly, though I can’t remember his name. One highlight was visiting Coral Beach—the perfect spot for swimming, with crystal-clear water. Honestly, I have no complaints! I’m loving everything about Pangkor—the views, the experiences, and the people. It’s been an amazing trip, and I can’t wait to come back

Its decent for a weekend gateaway. The jetty ride was only about 15-20minutes with regular hours of ferry. The locals are warm and friendly, all taxi has fixed price thus minimizing risk of getting scam by unscrupulous taxi drivers.

Pangkor is easily accessible beach destination from KL -with good weather almost all year round. Ferries are punctual and tickets cheap with ample parking available at the mainland jetties.
It does not have the gorgeous vibes of Malaysia's East Coast Islands and not recommended for snorkelling/sealife , but it has its small town charm- good for a short 3 day stay.
Must do- Nipah Beach, Chinese Seafood, Duty Free Chocolate Shopping!
Main Agenda: Rest & Relax!

Difficult to give a detailed review as we arrived at the start of Ramadan which lasted a month
Most of the stalls and restaurants were closed as were the beach activities
Minimarket and duty free shops open
Daddy's cafe on coral beach was by far the best place for Western food and cocktails
The hotels mainly offered limited choices but mainly catered or Chinese and malays
Not too many people about apart from groups of indians and Chinese, a bit noisy at times so avoid.
Overall beaches were pretty deserted.
A few plastic bottles and rubbish washed up during the day but beaches were swept up each day
Cheap and easy to get around by taxi or motorbike
No public transport

The hotel is located at the most hot spot in Pangkor Island. The beach is just across the road. Many eateries to choose from morning till late night. There are duty free shops as well. All this is just a walking distance. Their rooms are comfortable. However, the family room of 5 that I took is on the 3rd floor. No lift at the hotel. If you're travelling with old people pls make sure the room is not so high up. This is my 2nd time here. Thank Anjungan Hotel.
The apartment is a two room apartment with a king size bed and 2 single beds. The owner added two additional mattresses for our booking. It is a small and cosy and super clean place. Clean towels were provided. The added benefit was the owner was very kind in assisting in everyway from information upon arrival at the Lumut jetty to getting to her apartment. She also advised us in getting around Pangkor island and places to eat.
Everything!! The staff were lovely and kind in all places, pool bars, restaurants, spa etc.
We also loved how the island cared about taking care of there eco system and the well being of the island.
Food was lovely at all restaurants and locations.
Staff really go above and beyond.
Everything a lady traveller needs-nice, clean hotel in a quiet road, surprisingly nice view from my room- despite the immediate buildings, I could see the trees, beach, sea n pangkor laut too! Security is tip top + friendly and super helpful staff ❤
Joe and his staff are most helpful with tips on where to go and what to eat on the island. Will definitely visit Joe again on my next visit. Cheap and nice food on the island and the people of Pangkor Island are most kind and helpful. Love you all.
