We stayed at the Boathouse for 8 nights and are delighted with our choice! This hotel has been open since the beginning of July and has an excellent team of young people who are very attentive to our expectations and needs. We had a buffet breakfast included in the price of our room, which was quite full. The restaurant menu is not very varied, but the possibility of choosing the buffet in the evening allowed us to try lots of things. The hotel also offers activities and excursions. For a launch, the services are quite decent and the setting idyllic. Thanks to Ravin, Prim, One, Zai and the others for their welcome ! We will be back

We had a deluxe 3 person room which basically offers everything one needs. All accomodations are located around a cozy well-kept garden. Our room also had a terrace with chairs. The atmosphere is relaxed and nice. You easily meet some other travellers. The jungle starts literally in the backyard. There's a small convenience and souvenirshop at the entrance and several other shops nearby. Location is also close to several restaurants, great beach (5 minutes walk), ferry jetty, etc. Easy to go from here to any other place on the island.

The location is great, a few meters to the beach and walking distance to the port. The rooms are quite spacious and the a/c is working well. The staff is nice, but only one speaks English which can make the communication challenging sometimes.

Beautiful apartment, basically on the beach. The view from the terrace is amazing, of the turquoise sea and the long beach. Close to the port. A large apartment with two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen, each room had air conditioning and a bathroom. Good food in the restaurant downstairs. Good contact with the owners, there was no problem with arranging transport to the other side of the island. I heartily recommend it. it was a great time spent with my family.

The location right at the beach is excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We booked snorkelling trip with the Permai Chalet and it was well organised. We also got help with the transportation from/to Tekek. Overall it was excellent experience for the price.

Melina was a break away from reality. The chalet was basic but functional. The beach was on the doorstep and staff were friendly and welcoming. Lots of wildlife... Cheeky monkeys, lizards and the world's largest squirrel! Great to walk through the jungle to Paya and have a choice of restaurants and diving/snorkelling. We booked a trip for a full day with a company in Paya and saw sharks... Lots of small reef sharks and one very big reef shark! We saw swordfish, flying fish and a stingray not to mention the highlight of the trip was the turtle. Coral island was the best for snorkelling. Clear turquoise waters and white sand! The guide was so helpful and helped us to spot the turtle. This was 100 rm. We felt this was much better value than the hotels half day trip.

Inaccessible by foot, if you have any more luggage than a small rucksack. Even then, it’s a tricky 15 min hike in the jungle. That should be made clear on the booking.com website. I had to I pay for a water taxi, who was reluctant because of the low tide.
