I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, which included a climb of 2 days up the mountain. I would of liked to stay loner as there are many photo opportunity's and things to do that I was not aware of until I started talking to locals or driving around. IE Bird watching, golf, hikes, driving range, unique looking places to eat, river to explore etc.

Overall has a nice view of the surrounding and Mt Kinabalu could be seen at almost any angle and location. It has a good amount of activities to do as well. But the traffic is bad, and quite cluttered ard the town center

We found a small Javanese restaurant with soup campur too good to try.

This is a must visit location for anyone visting Sabah.
This is a must visit location for anyone visting Sabah. A 2D1N is definitely not enough and will do injustice to this excellent place. You need at least 2 nights here to appreciate what Kundasang had to offer. For my trip, both Mesilou Mountain Resort and Desa Cattle Farm have the best view of Mt. Kinabalu. The sunrise on our day 1 and day 2 is totally different view and feel. We even woke up at 2am to watch the headlights of climebrs line up to climb to the peak of Mt. Kinabalu.
Fish Spa and canope walk in Poring hotspring are another must visit location.
