The strip along Jalan Batu Ferringhi Street is the main service area, and you’ll find a large variety of hotels on the beach, apartments and guest houses. The stretch of beach at Teluk Bahang is quiet and sand is less coarse though not very fine. Views are lovely from Angsana Hotel.
the more commercialised areas nearer to the city cause traffic jams along the way and prices of food at these stretches are above the norm.

The Bayview hotel in Penang was magnificent.
We came with my wife for 4 nights.
The staff were very attentive. The pool is great.
The room and corridors are clean.
The beach adjoining the terrace is a big plus.
The breakfast is plentiful.
I won't hesitate to come back here if I ever come back to Penang.
The room is big, clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The location is very strategic, close to the beach, night market, restaurant and food court. The staff and owner was amazing and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting batu ferringin, penang.

The hotel offered you a welcome drink coupon and you can use it while you need it. The room and the toilet were spacious and clean. Very near to the Batu Ferringhi Beach but quite far from George Town. Overall nice experience to stay there.
