Cleanliness, steps to the beach, very attentive staff, nice pool and the best tacos ever right across the street. Plenty of A/C and hot water. Very comfortable bed too. There's an Oxxo about 10 blocks away. We were 10 minutes from centro Progreso by car.

Everything at the hotel was great, the place is beautiful and the staff is nice; but it’s important to consider its location. It’s surrounded by the busy streets of Progreso and there’s a bar (very lively and loud) nearby.
In the mornings there were all kinds of activities around, music, people selling stuff, locals and tourists all around, etc and at night again loud music and partying which is ok, but we did not get any rest because of the noise at all times, day and night.

The front desk staff are very kind and accommodating. The location is very central and a short walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. The hotel provides drinking water which is in the hallway to fill up your water bottle etc. The staff keep the hotel quite clean despite it being an old hotel. I appreciate that the towels are bleached so they smell very clean.
