Beautiful small hotel in the Center of it all, with great decorations. My wife and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I asked for cheesecakes and mimosas upon arrival in our room and they provided a basket of flowers (flowers courtesy of the hotel) which was a great touch. The restaurant was great and with selected inclusive breakfast.

People were friendly and helpful; however, I would bring enough "change-pesos" especially if you need to get anything from the store they kept saying they didnt have change. Also at money exchange they dont have enough to exchange your dollars. I would suggest you take enough change(pesos-coins as well) :)

What a magical place!
What a magical place! I stumbled upon a little library called Librearte, and made friends there right away. In the evenings, we visited little places like Utopia for art, dancing, poetry reciting, live music, fresh juice, and chipilín (a local soup). During the days, I adventured alone. I felt very safe walking by myself, and I must have walked for hours each day. I went on the Free Walking Tour, too, which is HIGHLY recommended for getting a good perspective on San Cristobal and the state of Chiapas. Their political and social issues are deep and complex. The street art is a fascinating way to protest and resist, and I found all of it fascinating. The tours are offered in English and Spanish. I ate wherever the wind took me during the days. Just be open to trying new places and new things. I visited during the rainy season, and the sidewalks (made of stone) are VERY slippery. Wear good walking boots/shoes! And brush up on your Spanish, as hardly anyone I met spoke English. Regardless, the people are kind and gracious. The town is magical, and I'll return as soon as possible.

Nice colonial city centre in the top of Chiapas mountains with lots of options: nature, food, cultural and especially the coffee and chocolate.
Very nice place to chill and even spend a long time to enjoy the atmosphere, visit the surroundings and enjoying the nice weather.
I think this would be a great place to spend several weeks and work remotely.

This city has a lovely atmosphere and the people is friendly, the main plaza is awesome with many vendors offering their hand made clothes. It is amazing to lear how many days it takes to produce a single piece of clothing.. they truly work hard to earn their living.

The hotel itself was lovely, such a nice place, and the staff were exceptionally helpful, sending us links to things to do and advice which was really appreciated. The rooms were quite compact but very clean and well laid out. We had access to a fridge and kitchen area, which was also helpful. The location of the hotel was a short walk from the centre and made it easy for us to get to and from the pick-up points for trips, and when going for food and drinks.
One of our favorite B&B’s during our 5 week travel through Mexico. The owners are the nicest and best hosts ever. We arrived far before check-in but they made us breakfast and coffee anyway which made us feel at home. The rooms are simple, but have everything you need. The location is perfect for discovering San Cristobal. We had the feeling that we really found a hidden gem with this place, and we wish the owners all the best on their adventure.
The ladies working here are 10/10 they are so nice, work extremely hard and really made our stay great! They provide a washing service for 70pesos, and cleaned our room amazingly everyday (even though we said they didn't need to bother). We booked the cooking class which was OUTSTANDING, the best food we have had our whole time in Mexico. The location is a 7-8minute walk away from the busy streets
Best hotel ever!! were couldn’t bring ourselves to leave so we keep extending visit for over 2 and a have feel staff were very flexible in accommodating our requests! it was the perfect sized kitchen. and purified water! luxury to have ahhhh smart tv with Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney ect! also the wifi was fantastic!!!
we should have stayed long I’d we would have we can tal stay again
Very nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly & polite. The menu of breakfast was very simple though good enough for free of charge. WiFi worked well, which was advantage of this hotel as a lot of hotels in San Cristobal even luxury hotels don't offer good connection of WiFi.
