Querétaro is a beautiful city steeped in rich history, particularly as the birthplace of the Mexican Revolution. It's a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Mexican history, whether you're a local or a foreign tourist. While Spanish is predominantly spoken, it adds to the authentic experience, although it might pose a slight challenge for non-Spanish speakers. Overall, Querétaro offers a fascinating journey through Mexico's past and is well worth exploring.

I hope to return for a longer stay.
I hope to return for a longer stay. The Regional Museum is great; I would like to have had time to visit others. Lots of great restaurants, street vendors of arts and crafts; but you need to carefully look for the locally-made items.

The city has beautiful historic center with many colonial buildings and churches. The streets are super clean and at night they are up with beautiful lamps. The city has a very important share of Mexico’s independence movement and has a lot history. The food was very good and I think I’ve had the best pozole in Queretaro. You can easily visit and see the city and sites in three days. It’s veey walkable and I very safe all the time; beautiful Queretaro!

Downtime is quite nice.
Downtime is quite nice. Several places to visit and lots of all types of restaurants to accommodate your travel budget. This city is becoming quite crowded and visited and you must be aware that traffic jams are starting to be experienced more and more. However, if you stick to downtown (Centro Historic) you will enjoy a nice couple of days and will be able to visit the diverse museums, temples and overall neighborhoods which the city has.
The breakfast was OK. The orange juice was not fresh (which is one of the things we really appreciate about Mexico)and I did not enjoy the hot dog in my scrambled eggs. In Canada we have hot dogs (low quality) and sausage which is better. I thought I was getting sausages but it was 1/2 a hotdog. Other than that breakfast was good though. I loved the Mexicano Eggs! Americano coffee which we appreciated 😊
This is a return visit after a couple of years and if anything, this hotel is better than ever. The management and staff are superb. The rooms are a bit small for a longer stay but if great value and a friendly hotel in Centro is what you are seeking Hotel Casa Aurora absolutely fills the bill!
It’s such an authentic cozy hotel in the heart of Queretaro‘s city centre. Our host Maria was super friendly, assisted us with everything and it felt like staying with a family.
Extra point for breakfast on the roof top terrace.
The hotel is in a really great location if you want to stay in Juriquilla because it is close to different stores and restaurants. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was good. Free parking is always a plus.
