Incredible staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food is top notch, and Gary at the rooftop pool bar makes wonderful cocktails. The rooms are so comfy and beautifully decorated. Every morning, we sat and had coffee while enjoying our view. The hotel had a SUP board and snorkels that we took to nearby beaches. Amazing location! We’ll be back.

I absolutely loved the workers in the restaurant. The food was amazing and Jorge who shucked oysters was so much fun. We learned a lot from him. Our original room had some issues so we moved to another room which was amazing! This was the room with the terrace access. We loved the location right by surfing spots and lots of surfboard rentals and paddleboard rentals. There are a lot of little restaurants down the street. It is an older authentic property and we were very happy with it. The rooms look newly remodeled so that is great. We booked the room that had an ocean view. Top floor. If you are a second or below you won’t have an ocean view. The restaurant and Palapa are in the front. This is great place for families, walking the beach, paddle boarding and surfing. We will be back and I recommend room number 16. That is the one with the terrace.

An Amazing property Staff are beyond caring for you to have a peaceful stay, everything was what i needed, rest, stop and rejuvinate. The spa was world class, my only poitive feedback, was the food was not amazing, the breakfast fabulous but the two restaurants i tried, (not the high end one) were ok... mexico is world class food level and it can come in the form of a quesadilla or a fish dish, simple but tastie. But im a foodie so you asked the wrong person.....The staff the staff AMAZING in the restuarants, so happy to help.
Thank you

A hidden gem. I almost don't want to tell how great this place is because it was the lack of crowd noise that made this place so special. From the warm welcome by a sweet caretaker (that spoke excellent English) to the darling well equipped room, to the ocean view from our comfy bed (with great pillows), and use of a beautiful outdoor ktchn
(we didn't use since we walked to an excellent restaurant to the south), this quaint 6plex with a pool was the best place we stayed of the 6places we slept at over our one-week vacation. Unfortunately, PV has become very crowded since our last visit 8 years ago.

Food and drinks did not disappoint for being an all inclusive resort. A good place to relax and enjoy.
On average, 3-star hotels in Punta Mita cost $107 per night, and 4-star hotels in Punta Mita are $271 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Punta Mita can be found for $502 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Punta Mita this weekend is $156 or, for a 4-star hotel, $277. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Punta Mita for this weekend cost around $729 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
The town itself has two options for dining. Overpriced food for the people in the compound as we called it (where all the very expensive hotels are, you are not allowed in unless you are staying there) or street food. The street food was amazing and highly recommended.
Unless you are there to surf I would not go to this town. We drove to La Lancha surf break every day. It was perfect for us. But if you are going for a beach trip you are going to the wrong place.

Punta Mita has still got the small fishing town vibe, but doubt it will remain that way for long.
It has a nice stretch of coast line too the north from stinkeys Beach ( appropriately named ) through to La Lancha, but the beach walk is tide dependent, needs to be or going low.
If your looking for the best surf there, head to La Lancha, 15 peso trip 1 way, the stop to get off at is at the oxxo, you will see cars parked across the road which is the entry track. The track is about 1km, you will see croc signs, but more of a concern through the wet season. 4 days there is plenty too explore the region.

Punta de Mita is a wonderful village on the water with a variety of restaurants and activities. It is a great location to surf and fish, and sightsee- whale watching, and snorkeling near the islands is a highlight. People are friendly and helpful- taco and burger stands on the east side of town are great. Learn a bit of Spanish and have a memorable stay!

Very quiet, chill beach town that is quickly growing in popularity. Spotless beaches and bougie beachside accoms hug the coastline. Great seafood is easy to find and ranges in price. Cheap and delicious taco stands are abundant in town as well. We rented a car from PVR and visited nearby Sayulita, San Pancho, etc. Pro tip: do not speed! Policia are very active in the area and love to “ticket” (read: shake down) foreigners. We stayed at hotel basalto and it was absolutely fabulous. Couldn’t recommend the area more.

Punta Mita itself is not as it appears in brochures and advertising blurb - some high end restaurants that are over priced and rely on their beachfront appeal but back from these the area is generally dirty and very poor. The gated villa and 4 seasons complex is obviously a whole different ball game but you pay through the nose for access to it.
Really lovely hotel, very good location right in town. Literally on the beach which was lovely, and the pool was nice. Staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful and all had great English. No food with the hotel and the restaurant attached was very pricey, but there was some great options for other food within minutes. Walking distance from two good surf spots, and there was a board rack to keep boards. The cleaners cleaned our room really well each day too which was a nice perk.
Location is great, 5min walk from the beach & restaurants, parking in front, loved the layout and design of the appartement and felt like a little oasis in the town. Also, Punta Mita is a great little town with nice restaurants, easy waves for surfing with kids & away from the many tourists in San Pancho & Sayulita
The apartment had great facilities in the kitchen, such as a blender and coffee machine which was nice! The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. The views from the rooftop were great.
Absolutely stunning property, larger than life, lovely pools, but the food at all the restaurants and buffet was some of the best I’ve had in the world. The spa was exceptional as well.
Breakfast was great. Staff was great. It was very relaxing. Not a lot to do but if you just want to eat, sleep and read this was the best place to do that!
