This is a lovely resort. Extremely clean and well maintained. We have stayed in a lot of places and imo this is one of the best resorts we've ever stayed in.

I'll start by saying all of the serving staff were excellent. At the bars, at breakfast, in the restaurants and the cafe, all of them were amazing. The hotel itself though, was very poor. Firstly, checking in and checking out was an ordeal. Secondly, lots of problems with the room. The fridge wasn't cold, the safe didn't work, the air conditioning was good, but because there was no seal around the door, it could never get fully cool. The plug in the sink didn't work, the cleaning was variable at best, the door didn't function properly and was really awkward to open. It just felt like the place was poorly maintained, and I know that there were many issues for other guests too.
You had to line up at 6am to stand any chance of booking a restaurant table for that evening. There was a policy that you can't reserve sunbeds, and your stuff would be removed after 45 minutes, never enforced, ever, other guests just reserving them all day! The food in the restaurants and the buffets was ok, at best, although I must say, the fish tacos at the snack bar were very good.
The location was great and the pool was a great place to hang out, but whilst I would be happy to visit Nuevo Vallarta again, I certainly wouldn't book this hotel.

Location was beautiful and well kept. Big pool and beach access was a plus! Service overall was top notch, from front desk, concierge, pool staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping and concierge. Piaf (Adult only) was our favorite restaurant, and Lucca was second with kids. But honestly, the food selection overall was great for a 3 night stay

I went for a medical reason, not for vacation. After going I personally wouldn’t choose puerto Vallarta for vacation unless you stay in hotel Moussai or Garza Blanca or anywhere near that area because those beaches are blue. I stayed at Playa Royale which are apartments right next to the hard rock hotel and when I tell you that beach is murky. It’s like going to Galveston beach. So I do not recommend at all. If you want nice beaches in Mexico, I’d do Cancun or Cabo’s. Although it is very safe for tourists, you won’t ever feel like you’re in danger and people are friendly.

It has a nice beach, breakfast is good. One pool was in maintenence. Far from downtown and transportation options are expensive. I didnt like the 11am checkout, its too early and you dont really have time to do anything more than have breakfast and leave

January has perfect weather, very pleasant people visiting, working and living in the area. Lots of stuff to do or not do, if relaxing is your mission. Affordable Taxi or Uber rides can get you to Puerto Vallarta or Bucerias within 30 minutes. Spanish speakers will have no trouble getting around and even those who have a limited understanding will have little trouble as most residents speak english.

Nuevo is nicer than Puerto Vallarta, quiet and peaceful versus the hustle and bustle of touristy Malecon in Vallarta, lots of traffic, noise associated with it etc.
Nuevo is pricier , big money, and affluence in Nuevo area where I stayed. Well groomed walk ways (don't have to worry much about stepping in a hole like Vallarta)- median has walkway for joggers, dog walks, regular walk. Its upscale for sure.

At first I thought it was a little isolated but we realized restaurants etc. were a short ride away.
My husband enjoyed walking in the area and it was easy to walk on the beach or path to Bucerías.
I would definitely stay there again!

The beach was fantastic and kept very clean, and the food service near the beach was exceptionally good. The room (apartment for 6; incl. a 1-year and 3-year old) was nice, kept very clean, and very quiet. The pool was beautiful and kept very clean. The food was terrific. Staff was all very friendly. All very positive. Worth coming back!
Facilities were great. Staff kind and helpful. I had a mixup with my booking sage (accidentally booked a night earlier) and they fixed it up without fee or problem. Food was good and helped with veggie options. Right on the beach.
Rooms were spacious and so quiet at night. Easy walk to the beach and the malecon is right outside. Onsite restaurant is excellent and front desk staff were really helpful. It was a quick drive to the airport too
Staff was so helpful and friendly, food was amazing in all restaurants and the buffet, the rooms were spacious, we were three women and did not feel crowded. Lots of chairs around the pool and easy beach access.
