This hotel was good value for comfort. The location is near the edge of Roma Norte, so it was about 10-15 minutes to most of the popular restaurants and cafes. We could hear the muffled conversations of the adjacent rooms but the hotel did provide earplugs and eye masks. Overall cleanliness is decent, the bathrooms had a little grime but nothing terrible. Our room only had the overhead rain-type shower head so I had to adjust myself to not get my hair wet when showering.

As one of the biggest cities in the world, Mexico City could be better described as an experience than a city. Founded in 1325 by the Aztecs as Tenochtitlan, it was both destroyed and rebuilt by the Spanish in the 16th century. Nowadays, it is the capital of the United Mexican States and its most important economic and cultural center.
The city center’s cornerstone is the famous Plaza de la Constitución, commonly called Zócalo. It's surrounded by the presidential Palacio Nacional and the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral.
The Avenida de la Reforma was built under the brief rule of Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Austria, while the deposed president Porfirio Díaz left a characteristic fusion of French-Mexican architecture. The 1960s saw a demographic explosion that only now is starting to be completely absorbed.
From the Chapultepec Parks and the chic Polanco, to the gay area of Zona Rosa and the Bohemian and intellectual Coyoacán: let Mexico City tell you its thousand secrets and stories.
Most of the hotels are located around the Reforma area, the Insurgentes Avenue and the Zócalo. If you’re looking for 5-star hotels in Mexico City, the modern Santa Fe area has a recently redeveloped business sector.

There are so many interesting sites to see! I had only 2.5 days, and could have been there a full week.
I ate at the "El Bajito" Mexican restaurant on Bolivar. Loved the food and the service.
I chose to avoid the public transportation because I was alone, due to the fact that my stay was following a work trip to Puebla.

This city is vibrant and fascinating.
This city is vibrant and fascinating. The interesting parts are safe in daylight hours. I hope that I can return. There is so much to do. All the tours that I did via Viator were worthwhile. I loved how green with trees and parks this city is.

I think people don't realise just how cosmopolitan Mexico city is. We stayed in the neighbourhood of Tabacalera. The Amalda Central is beautiful and we spent our day there walking there and through Centro. There's a lot to see, plenty of food and there really is a lively culture in this neighbourhood. My friend and I felt comfortable walking around by ourselves even at night and in general we found people to be very friendly. I does help that both of us speak at least basic spanish.

Absolutely amazing!
Absolutely amazing! So much beautiful culture, history, architecture, art! Everything was beautiful! The parks were all so well kept and pretty! Every encounter with someone was friendly! For a city that is so over populated, it is cared for with pride. And again very nice and polite people everywhere. Amazing food everywhere.
We visited Iguala, Hoya de Pantla, Mexico City, Xochimilco, Teotihuacan and Coyoacan.

Friendly and safe city with so many things to see and do!
Friendly and safe city with so many things to see and do! Very friendly locals. Walked most everywhere because of my short stay and limited time to explore, but Ubers are readily available. Visited Chapultepec and the Anthroplogie Museum, and highly recommend both. I already have a longer trip planned for March. Can't wait to go back!

Maryl from Detroit Michigan USA. -- LOVED CDMX. We stayed near the Palace of Fine Arts & Museo de Mexico. Beautiful, artistic city with inspiring color and culture, great restaurants and wonderful museums & parks we didn't even get to see nearly enough of them , because we had so much enjoyment just walking around taking in the architecture, the style, the creativity & welcoming atmosphere. We were lucky to be there during the week of Dias de los Muertos. Make sure you get a tour to Teotihuacan ruins & Tlatelolco & Cathedral of Guadalupe with the licensed tour guides! worth the money. The city museums you can visit on your own.

The Historico Central Boutique Hotel is a slice of paradise in Mexico City. All the staff from reception to the dining room are wonderful. The rooms are luxurious and the beds feel like being in the clouds. Every floor has a basket of free fruit plus a fridge with free water bottles. Included in the room cost was 24 hour free food and coffee from their cafe. On the Day of the Dead parade there were makeup artists in the foyer to paint the guests! An exceptional hotel which I’m happy to say I’ll be going back to stay in, in 4 months.
Very stylish hotel in the Condesa area of Mexico City. Our rooms were very spacious, clean and luxurious and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were welcomed by Diego with a shot of Mexcal and both Diego and Ester were very helpful during our stay. The hotel was in easy walking distance of many cafes and restaurants and we felt very safe walking around the area even at night
Small boutique Hotel perfectly located for a City trip to Mexico City!!! Very clean rooms and friendly staff!!! Appearance on Booking exactly how it looked like in reality!!!
Fine for a quick stay between flights at Mexico City Airport. There is a pedestrian bridge between the terminal and the hotel, so very safe when arriving at night.
