Palapas Ventana, hotel in La Ventana

Located in La Ventana, a 2-minute walk from La Ventana Beach, Palapas Ventana has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a private beach area.

The staff is what made this experience truly special. The facilities and location are excellent, but the staff was so kind, and so willing to be helpful. Each day the lead staff member on duty introduced themselves to us at breakfast and offered whatever support we needed. We didn't feel pushed to arrange anything, and we chose to have a very relaxing two days where we stuck around the grounds and to the beach.

Baja Joe's Hotel, hotel in La Ventana

Baja Joe's Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in La Ventana. The property has a shared kitchen and a concierge service for guests.

The property is very well set up and the layout works well. The double room we stayed was small, but filled our needs perfectly. The place was very clean, bathrooms cleaned many times a day. The kitchen buildings are great and provides for refrigerator space, coffee pot and storage. My only regret is we did not have more time.

It is a magical place for kitesurfing and what makes a day special- best yoga I have ever experienced to start the day every day, very tasty cappuccino from the coffee bar with amazing and international barristers who also run the store, beach is right there and fabulous as well as the cocktails were impressive.

Cool very accessible place, beautiful beach and view.

Cool very accessible place, beautiful beach and view. Pretty clean, lots of dirt roads but in good shape. Lots of sporty white folks ex pats, not a big diversity of things to do. Some great food and walkable areas. The beach was nice but windy of course. Couldn't find the hotsprings on the beach. Would go back!

A quaint town full of people waiting for the Wind to blow.

A quaint town full of people waiting for the Wind to blow. The water is amazingly clear and calm in the mornings, so even though it's a Windsurfing town, you can still enjoy being in the sea in the morning. It also has beautiful cactus forests that go on forever. On the other hand, it's not a very local vibe - most big restaurants and hotel's are owned by expats, and costs are quite high making it hard for locals (and cheap food/activities) to stay. You'll see mostly expats here.

La Ventana is very small at first glance, but grows as you...

La Ventana is very small at first glance, but grows as you stay. More and more little restaurants can be discovered along the main road. All the taco stands and smaller restaurants there are a good deal and tasty meal. The beaches are quiet and natural. If you take the trip down the dirt road, the hot springs are a great spot. There’s plenty of nature activities if you like or you can just relax and enjoy if you prefer. Definitely rent a car that’s good for all terrain or get an ATV when you get there to be able to access all the best places. It’s one of my favourite places I’ve visited and I will be returning soon 💕

The hotel experience would have been significantly improved if the rooms had provided some simple things like knives forks spoons plates and bowls. What use is is an oven to cook food without the utensils?

Come to La Ventana to camp with kite and windsurfers.

Come to La Ventana to camp with kite and windsurfers. The town has a few good restaurants and average to below average hotels located on the beach. The roads are dirt and rocks. There are large RV and campings areas along the roads and beachfront.

I stayed two nights in the 8 bedroom dorm. It was quiet and comfortable and has a very relaxed vibe. The kitchen is well equipped and each bunk (and room) has its own space in the fridge and a shelf to keep your food separate. There is a hammock and deck chairs on the balcony upstairs which was a great location from which to watch the sunrise. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a good local recommendations. They also provided us with chairs, a cooler and beach umbrella for our day trip to Punta Arena de La Ventana.

This is a beautiful place to stay, so much thought has gone into the rooms, each in separate buildings representing regions of the world visited by the innkeepers. Our room showcased beautiful pieces of furniture and carvings from Africa. The restaurant with the hotel is superb and clearly very popular. Furthermore, when we mentioned, after arriving and going to dinner, that there was an issue with the toilet in our room, it was fixed immediately. Well worth staying her for an artistic experience.

A cute and quiet place to stay. The pool was nice, we loved the rooftop patio, and watching the sunrise from the bed. The space was well laid out, clean, and the bed was comfy. It was nice being walking distance to the beach, and morning yoga offered at a neighbouring hotel. Would definitely stay again!

It is a very cool place with a focus on community. The rooms are small you stay outside which is what La Ventana is all about. Staff were great
