Lots to do and see there's several site trips available and they take you in a van plenty of great restaurants and places to dine or eat breakfast at everywhere you go the people are friendly lots of culture and beauty around the city and every thing is in walking distance from the Hotel hosteria de frayele where we stayed diffently would recommend this was our 7th time visiting

Its history, architecture, diversity of a unique mexican colonial city.. be prepared to Walk and walk ,up n down. If your older, just Pace yourself, its do able. The color of its buildings is unmatched. Winding , sometimes narow alleys and streets present a surprise around every turn.. Dont forget to take the Funicular, to the top, to get a magical view of the city.

Such a beautiful city and people. Worth a look to see. Maybe you will only need 4 days at the most, maybe 3. Great history, architecture, and attractions to see. Beautiful churches, great food, and just an all around beautiful place. You need to see the silver mines, mummies, and the museums. The Museum of the Revolution is a must see.

If you are going to Guanajuato to see the Historical Center and be near restaurants and shops, find a place close to the center. Especially if you are older or have mobility issues. There are many steps and hills to get almost anywhere.

We loved Guanajuato and would go back sometime.
We loved Guanajuato and would go back sometime. We were only there two nights as a quick stop on our drive home to the US. It's an amazing city with the mining history and tunnels carved in the mountain. The architecture in the historic center is gorgeous, many buildings are from the 1700 and 1800s. We loved climbing the hill to the statue for the view as well as just wandering and exploring. There are all kinds of restaurants and street food, music in the streets every night and lots of shops of souvenirs. We recommend spending several days here.

Small, wonderful, kaleidoscopic, walkable, and friendly city to visit and explore. Great range of activities available: art and architecture, museums and music venues and food options (from street food on up) and hiking in the surrounding hills. Speaking Spanish helps, even if at a rudimentary level like mine. Guanajuato is an easy to just be. And if you forget the sunscreen ... farmacias to the rescue! Enjoy your visit.

The entire hotel is beautiful, inside a magnificient old building in the historic center of Guanajuato. The hotel complex comprises different structures on different levels. For instance, the swimming pool and the bar are located higher and only reachable with an elevator, giving it stunning views over the city. It is really a spectacular place. Rooms also beautiful and fully equiped.
The biggest perk of this hotel is the amazing view of the city! We had some nice chilling time in the jacuzzi while enjoying the view. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast delicious.
It is a bit outside of the center but for us it was an easy walk.
The hotel has a really nice vibe in beautiful Guanajuato and really close to Centro Historico. Also staff is kind and friendly and there is free parking
