This place is a hidden gem. Great value, incredibly reliably shuttle and super helpful staff. When my husband and I arrived he realized he had left his passport in the rental car we had just returned as we were checking in. The staff immediately offered the shuttle to take him back to the rental car place (which we didn't wind up needing). The hotel was modern, clean and super nice. Our room had a comfy bed and A/C and a thick comforter. We had dinner at the hotel and the pastor tacos were INCREDIBLE - great guacamole, meat well spiced, good salsa and pico de gallo and good portions. Super fairly priced, too. My husband's pepperoni pizza way exceeded expectations as well but I cannot get over those tacos being airport hotel food as I travel a lot for work and have never had airport hotel food that good. We had to be at the airport at 4.00 AM with a huge board bag and the shuttle was super easy to book, reliable and the driver helped with my husband's board bag. Would 1,000% stay here again for any early or late flight and would recommend to everyone.

The weather is almost always very pleasant, as it was on this trip. The Centro area in Guadalajara is a huge plus. There is so much pedestrian area and plenty of shopping, eating, and sightseeing options.

The university areas and parts of the downtown are lively, but Zapopan and Tlaquepaque have more character and activity.
If you're interested in the city proper, I'd recommend staying in the historic district, near Plaza de 9 Esquinas. It's charming, has good restaurants, and is a quick walk to the big classic sights.
Colonia Americana/ Chapultepec has a busy restaurant and bar scene, but is very young, with mostly university students.

This was a great hotel to stay and explore Guadalajara for some days. Their driver waited for me while my flight was delayed and was very helpful. The reception despite late hours was very accommodating and friendly. They gave me a room to the inside, which at first seemed uncomfortable but turned out to be the most quiet one due to outside discotheques.
The reception and concierges were excellent, advised well on safety matters and helped organising a day tour.
Breakfast in the adjusting restaurant was quiet and tasty.
Beautiful traditional old building in the heart of Guadalajara, easy walking distance to everything yet in a quiet location. Our room was lovely especially with the private terrace space. Elvia at the hotel is so friendly and so helpful, we felt that she really wanted us to enjoy our stay and worked hard to ensure it.
The room was nice and tidy, very clean. The hotel is in at an excellent location in the centro within walking distance to nice restaurants and the main sights.
